A wide range for large series

High volume production, part quality control and delivery time are top priorities in the automotive industry. Evatec-Tools' offer meets these challenges and provides its automotive customers with productive tools with optimized tool life. Indeed, the group's range of tools is perfectly suited to typical automotive applications such as the machining of cylinder heads, pistons, gearboxes, valve blocks, crankshafts and bearings.

Four complementary production units, all based in France, and employing over 100 people. As a French designer and manufacturer of standard and custom tools for machining, wear, stamping and pressing, the group manufactures tools in small and large series for various industrial sectors such as aeronautics, automotive, steel industry, railways or heavy and precision mechanics. With more than 70 years of experience, the evatec-tools group can meet your needs for turning, milling, drilling, core drilling or counterboring applications for a wide range of materials: steels, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, carbon and graphite, composites and honeycomb.

The group's production sites

In Le Creusot, Evamet is known for its high-performance carbide grades for wear parts, tools and cutting inserts. In Lyon, Create Outillage manufactures carbide and steel tools for striking, extrusion, stamping and forming. In Montbrison, GMO has a specialized design office dedicated to the development of production tools. This is also the site where tool bodies and attachments are manufactured. In Thionville, Evatec concentrates on rotating monobloc tools in ARS or carbide and on cutting tools in CBN, PCD and ceramic.
